My definition of Spring Fever may differ from yours, so please allow me to elaborate.
Spring Fever – got to have it today, always in a hurry, why is it taking so long – feeling irritated and harassed. This is what I mean by Spring Fever.
No sooner has April arrived with cold temperatures keeping many people inside their homes, preventing them from carrying out their work due to tailbacks and gridlock.
Feeling “spring feverish” can manifest in many ways. Sometimes it is akin to being bored, or cooped up inside all day when all you want to do is play with your sledge outside in the snow with the other children.
Patience is required if you are going to survive feeling Spring Feverish.
One piece of advice I can give you is to capitalise on the upsurge of energy you may be feeling as the world moves towards the Spring season.
Remember to take time to look at the young flowers starting to emerge from beneath soil.
Look at how the trees are shedding leaves and getting ready to show their blossoms. Remember to take a few minutes each day to recognise the wonders that surround you.
After a few minutes looking at nature you may even forget what your anxiety and spring feverishness was all about.
